Budget-Friendly Ways to Reward Yourself + My Favorite Indulgence Under $5

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of StyleWatch®. The opinions and text are all mine!

You guys, I cannot explain to you how much I have to force myself to go to the grocery store. It’s up there on my “least favorite things to do” list along with stopping to get gas. (That’s the absolute worst, right?) However, I DO love the checkout line because not only does it mean I’m about to run through that imaginary grocery store finish line, but it also means that I get to indulge in all of those glossy mags lined up in neat little rows. I’ll totally read over the gossip covers too – no shame in my game – but if I really want to treat myself, I always reach for StyleWatch! SO, I’ve teamed up with my fave magazine to share budget-friendly ways to reward yourself in today’s post!

Ps. It wasn’t that long ago, I was inside the pages! Anyone remember this post? (No wonder why it’s my favorite indulgence under $5.)

I also have a great offer for you below so you can pick up your next copy of StyleWatch, PEOPLE®, InStyle®, or Real Simple®.You can visit your local participating Safeway, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Randall’s, Shaw’s, Star Market, Carr’s or Acme Market to receive $1 J4U/MyMixx offer on PEOPLE, Instyle, StyleWatch, and Real Simple.

Can I even tell you how smitten I was with the March cover while I was checking out at Albertson’s the other day? It’s FULL-ON blush – which is basically all I’ve been wearing lately! So, I’ve teamed up with StyleWatch to share a blush-inspired outfit from this month’s magazine along with a few budget-friendly ways to reward yourself for all of life’s little accomplishments. Even if it’s just a successful grocery store visit!

See all 5 of my Budget-Friendly Ways to Award Yourself in today’s full post!

1. Curl Up With Your Favorite Magazine

Because sometimes curling up with a good book is a lot of commitment. Plus, there are tacos to cook and the Bachelor to watch. (Just me?) So unless I’ve just really got some extra time on my hands, I’m picking up a magazine to dive into on those commercial and nacho breaks. (I’m the queen of turning down the page corners for later reference too.)

2. Put That Promo Code To Use

One of my favorite parts of StyleWatch is the access to all of the exclusive promo codes. Trust me, there are some really good ones this month! And if you’re planning a spring getaway, you’ll want to save a couple of those dollars to put towards fruity drinks. You might see a couple of outfits coming up that were evidence of me putting promo codes to work… Ps. I really like how they’ve added an index at the end of the issue that outlines all of the codes and which pages to reference for them.

3. A Fresh Coat of Polish

Taking a little bit of time for a fresh mani is like a tell-all sign of a girl who enjoys rewarding herself. Some days I look down at my own nails, and judge my current life situation on their state. Chipped polish means you’re putting in the effort, but you’re in need of a little me time. No polish means okay seriously slow down and take a second to groom. Good polish means that accomplished feeling when you’re on top of your game that week. The March StyleWatch has some great color inspiration if you’re looking for some new polish color inspo!

4. Save Face

One of my absolute favorite things to do when I have a few spare minutes is to treat my skin! There’s an entire page devoted to affordable beauty aisle products in the March issue including charcoal cleansers, hydrating gels and redness relievers. The best part is that they’re all under $20!

5. Wine Down

And because you’re already in the grocery store, grab that cheap bottle of vino. I’m not judging!  (My favorite bottle of Riesling is under 10 bucks, haha.)
