Thank you to Tide for partnering on this fun learning experience and for sponsoring today’s post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m just going to come out and say it. When it comes to laundry – and household chores in general – I’m not the most experienced. In fact, up until about a month ago, we only had one type of detergent in our house which Jordan and I used for all types of clothing and stains. I found that the occasional stain from dinner just wasn’t coming out in my old laundry routine. Not to mention, our clothes – particularly Jordan’s workout clothes – just didn’t smell fresh after months continuing to wear and wash them.
My trip to the Tide Lab in January changed my whole mindset about laundry – who knew I’d actually be EXCITED to wash my clothes now? Sharing some of the most common laundry hacks and why they are no match for Tide’s newest products in today’s full post!
A few weeks ago, I shared on IG Stories that my me and my friends spent a Saturday morning getting photos of our auras taken. Kind of a different way to spend a day out with your besties right? But not really because we always have the most fun when we’re doing something new and unexpected together. We’ve gone on a vampire tour in the French Quarter, had our tarot cards read, and eaten dinner in haunted restaurants. We have annual fancy hat brunches, Friendsmas dinners and more. Most recently, we got together to have a watch party for the Say Yes To The Dress episode that we filmed for my bffs wedding.
My point is, we LOVE any and every excuse to get together and make unforgettable memories. I wanted to put together a list of Galentine’s Day ideas to help you share the love with your besties not just this month, but any time of year!
This is a bit of a different post for me, BUT like I said in my resolutions post, I want to provide you guys with more content of value this year. One of the priorities on my list is to get more REAL about my daily life and a look at my normal routine. So why not include a peek into my fridge and my newly adopted clean eating grocery list?
I don’t often post about my diet – this is something that I think is so private and personal for a lot of people. The last thing I want to do is make you feel like what you’re eating is WRONG. I think it’s important for everyone to listen to their bodies when it comes to making informed food decisions.
I have a sensitive stomach and several food allergies (gluten and dairy specifically) which is why I chose to start the year by adopting clean eating habits. The months of November and December had me eating SO poorly and making the worst food choices for my system. I was tired, unmotivated, unproductive – walking around in basically a fog. Bad food decisions were impacting me in BIG ways.
In today’s post, I’m outlining easy food swaps that I made in our fridge, my clean eating grocery list, and how it’s changed the way I feel!
Last week, I discussed giving our house a fresh start with new wall art, but I’ve been seriously sidetracked with all the NEW 2018 home decor collections as well as all the home SALES that are currently happening. I’ve basically been putting together a major wishlist and getting lost in Pinterest-y worthy rooms. If your house is looking a little sad after packing up the holiday decorations, this post is for you! Below you’ll find some of the items that I’m crushing hard on right now + a list of my favorite spots for fresh home decor updates!
New Years Day marks the end of our holiday celebrations, and chances are you might need to just take a little “me time.” After all, the holidays are joyful, but they’re also pretty stressful. During the week between Christmas and New Years, you basically lose all sense of space and time, am I right? Routine disruption can really throw you for a loop – I know I’m definitely feeling it. Just in time for 2018, I teamed up withU.S. Highbush Blueberry Council and SIMPLY to put together a list of my favorite ways to hit refresh after the holidays!
