Just like you can change up your wardrobe with new a trend, updating your holiday traditions can be just as creative! I’ve teamed up with Express to share ways for you to try both this season! For example, one popular winter piece I’ve been seeing a lot of lately is the pleated skirt trend. I decided to wear this mini skirt version (also available in metallic) to a holiday luncheon this week with fellow creatives and content creators. Paired with a cozy sweater and OTK boots, this was the perfect, festive skirt to wear to our first holiday gathering. The Express pieces in today’s post make the perfect casual holiday outfit!
We met at a local restaurant and shared stories about our businesses and lessons we’ve learned this year. All of the laughs and conversation got me thinking about our different connections and how this one lunch could easily turn into a new holiday tradition! One of the things I miss most about working in a traditional office setting – especially this time of year – is the social connection. Our little holiday luncheon is the closest thing that I’ll have to attending my own office Christmas party this year. So, I’m hoping it’s a tradition that we can continue to have over the years to come!
What sort of tradition of your own could you start this year? Whether it’s gathering coworkers or friends for an impromptu lunch or happy hour, there are so many ways to bring your favorite people together this season!

Ever wonder what bloggers gift each other for Christmas? My blogger besties and I teamed up with Vince Camuto on a Secret Santa present exchange, and in the process, we created the ultimate fashionista gift buying guide! Kendall from Styled Snapshots was my Secret Santa, and she picked out the rose gold metallic heels in today’s post! You guyssss, I was literally so excited to share these with you as soon as I opened the box. Studs and rose gold – talk about Secret Santa goals! I immediately shared on Snapchat and Insta Stories because I couldn’t contain myself lol.
As you can imagine, they are the ultimate holiday party heel, but you can also wear them to dress up your denim. I knew that these metallic heels would look so chic with my favorite distressed boyfriend jeans and this new slouchy sweater. Pair them up with metallic accessories, and you’re set! See a few of my snaps from unwrapping my Vince Camuto gift as well as how I’m wearing them in today’s post!
I’ve also included a few more of my Vince Camuto favorites below because there are SO many great options on the site right now. I’m especially loving the backless loafer style and the sassy party bags too!

Everyone has heard the saying that the best presents come in small packages – and I couldn’t agree more! Jewelry gifts are incredibly personal and thoughtful, but they can also be very difficult to pick out. So, I’ve teamed up with Swarovski to share a few of my favorite holiday gifts that sparkle in today’s post! Swarovski is taking all the guesswork out of brilliant gifting this year. The new holiday collection is both glamorous and effortlessly cool to make everyday outfits extraordinary. Highlighted in today’s post are a few pieces available on Macys.com that add a touch of glam to any look!
My favorite pieces from the Macy’s x Swarovski collection include the Fizzy necklace and (surprise!) the Crystaldust wrap bracelet – seen here worn as a necklace. This wrap bracelet can be worn two ways – sophisticated on the wrist and on-trend worn as a choker. Saw this worn as a choker on Instagram and had to try it out myself! It comes in multiple stone colors as well – the clear stone version is gorgeous too. This is the ultimate gift idea for a fashionista who loves getting dressed up! To add a layered effect, add the starburst Fizzy necklace – so perfect for the holidays with it’s celestial motif.

Because sometimes you just wanna throw on leggings and a fuzzy sweater and call it a day. I’m sharing a few of my favorite holiday accessories from Sole Society that turn any basic outfit into holiday glam. A few statement accessories updated the outfit in today’s post that I wore recently to a holiday dinner! I mean what’s better than wearing the comfiest outfit possible to a steakhouse and being able to get away with it?
By adding a pair of statement animal print heels (they also come in a black glitter!), I was able to instantly upgrade my look black and white outfit. (You guys, I get asked about these shoes EVERY time that I wear them.) This black suede clutch is also a fun piece to add a little bit of understated pattern and texture. It’s big enough to hold all of the essentials and comes with a convenient wrist strap. I also coordinated ruby-colored jewelry like this lariat necklace and shoulder-dusting earrings to add color while complementing my lip color. (Kylie Lip Kit – Matte Kristen)
Sole Society is one of my favorite brands to look to when it comes to finding affordable trend pieces! Plus with their range of shoes, bags, jewelry and now clothes, you can complete your holiday looks all in one spot. I also really love that they actually show the models with the shoes on their feet. Someone please tell me why all sites don’t do that?!

I literally try to find every excuse to dress up during the month of December. (Because hey, working from home most days in leggings, Ugg boots and Piko shirts is not the most glamorous life.) This December is a little different for me because it’s my first Christmas working for myself full-time, and therefore I have ZERO office holiday parties to attend. I keep telling Jordan that I’m going to throw my own party for me and my coworkers – aka our two dogs. Thank goodness his law firm believes in multiple holiday parties so that I have some place to wear this stunner from the Eva Mendes Holiday Collection from New York and Company. A chic holiday dress under $100? Count me in because, I’ll be wearing this number to one of his THREE office events this month! Seriously though – three holiday events?
Tighter fitting dresses are totally not my usual cup of tea (talking to you bandage dresses), so it was a little nerve wracking trying this one on. But the baby blue color and the pearl detailing make it so flattering and feminine. I wasn’t even worried about it being a little more fitted than usual. To break up all of the blue, I added a faux fur stole and my Waldorf party bag for an unexpected contrast. I love how these accessories bring the whole look together and make this holiday dress under $100 look super luxe!
