I’m so excited that Spring is almost here because the start of a new season means the perfect time for a wardrobe update. Although swapping your cozy knits for flirty dresses and stylish mules can seem like an expensive and daunting task, it doesn’t have to be. I’ve been scouring the Internet for new trendy pieces from my favorite stores that look amazing yet don’t break the bank. So, whether you’re in the market for a new colorful accessory, a bold floral dress, or fresh new kicks, I’m sharing 6 affordable Spring fashion trends you should try this season.
January and February (and even March) can be tough months to figure out what to wear – especially living in the south. One day it’s warm, next day it’s back to cold outside. THIS is when I like to stock up one transitional tops. In fact, they’re all I’ve really been shopping for lately! I’ve found so many new long-sleeved styles that are so cute for pre-spring outfits. Ruffles are back and even stripes – of course! Below are the ones that I’ve had my eye on!
Is getting back in the gym on your to-do list for 2018? (Mine too…) And I find that nothing really motivates me more than new activewear. In fact, I recently went through my workout drawer and tossed a ton of old stuff that either was worn too much or not often enough because I didn’t like the way it fit. So now that I’ve cleared out some room, I’ll be adding a few more of today’s top activewear picks from Nordstrom. SO many blush pretties right now!
Ps. Anyone trying Whole30 for the first time like me? It’s a lot similar to the discipline it took for my juice cleanse!
Last Friday was CRAZY y’all – we had an unexpected snow storm blow right through Baton Rouge! It was pretty cool waking up to a winter wonderland, and because Louisiana isn’t used to icy roads, most businesses were closed for the day. No complaints from this girl for getting to spend the day in our pajamas and slippers! (It was so nice having Jordan at home for the day too!) The snow might have already melted, but I’m still living my best fuzzy slipper life and dreaming of these cozy gift ideas from Nordstrom in today’s post.
Our Louisiana winter can be a little unpredictable – last year it was 80 degrees on Christmas! But this year, we’ve had a pretty consistent cool front making it actually feel like December! However, it’s still nothing close to say… Philadelphia and New York, where we will be heading for actual Christmas this year! Luckily, Nordstrom has a selection of winter clothing options that work for Louisiana winter and our snowy Christmas plans! I’m already planning what to pack like my Ugg boots and cozy thermal socks. Keep reading to see my full winter to-do list!
