You know when you make a list and tell yourself you’re going to check it all off… and you do like half of it? Story of my life. I put together the most mega Fall To-Do List last year and only got through maybe 3 things. Here they are:
Finish My Website Update | Assemble a 70s Inspired Wardrobe | Purge Old Fall + Winter Clothes
So that means there were like seven other things that never actually happened. Either my goals were too grandiose, or I need to get my butt in gear this year! See how I’m revising my fall-to do list from last year and sharing a few little life updates in today’s post!

Bring Fall Home
It never really feels like fall in Louisiana until much later. So, I’ve already picked up pumpkins and mums from a local nursery to pretty up our front porch. Will show you guys on Insta Stories! I also want to swap out our normal pillows with cozy faux fur blankets and grab some apple cider candles. I’m making a few changes in our house right now including a new couch, new wall art – really excited to share our new living room pieces with you guys soon!
Escape to See the Leaves Change
This is on my list every. single. year. It still hasn’t happened, but I’m really motivated to see the leaves y’all! I have a few trips coming up in October, and I’m still trying to squeeze in a few days in Vermont. I’m also trying to convince Jordan that he needs to come with me, but I don’t think he has apple-picking on his bucket list like I do. I’m still trying to finalize my other October trips, so I don’t want to spill the details quite yet. BUT they are both new destinations that I’ve never been before with some of my favorite ladies!!
Host a Fall Dinner Party
Again, always on my list. Never happens. Mainly because I can’t make up my mind about outdoor furniture, and I have a gazillion things I want to do to our back porch. We’ve lived in our house for SIX years, and I can’t figure out the porch. But I found some boho backyard dinner photos on Pinterest. They have me ready to find wooden palettes, Moroccan blankets and cafe lights for a no-frills (but lots of wine and cheese) type of get-together.
Meet More of You Guys!
I had so much fun at my summer BumbleBFF brunch getting to know a few of you. I’m excited to be taking this show on the road for a little Southern Road Trip! I’ll be sharing more details on this soon, but we’ve already got plans to visit Oxford, Mississippi in November to do a little tailgating meet-up. Hoping to make a pit-stop in Starkville along the way too. (Let me know if I have any Miss. State/Ole Miss peeps who would like to hang out!)
