As I’ve previously mentioned, 30A has become one of our favorite spots to slow down and sink into the white sands. It’s become a family tradition for us to rent a home in Watercolor for a week with Jordan’s sisters and their families in the summer. And although I got a pre-summer taste of 30A and Rosemary Beach this past March, I’m counting down the days until we head back next month! See my recent 30A post here.
2. Cabo, Baja California Sur
If you’re wanting beaches with a different flair (and a whole lot of tequila), Mexico is always a good escape! After visiting both Cabo and La Paz, the ocean views and amazing FOOD just really don’t get any better. I could get down with white villas and guacamole any time of year though, couldn’t you? You can see my previous post on Cabo here and my post about La Paz here.
3. Cape Cod
Still trying to figure out how to get back to the Cape this summer! I visited for the first time last year, and I still can’t get the sea breeze and the jaw-dropping hydrangeas out of my head. This time, I’d definitely want to stay in Nantucket or on Martha’s Vineyard to really get the full experience. See my post from Cape Cod here.
If you’re not a big planner, I’d fully suggest an all-inclusive resort where literally everything is planned just for you. You can even get airfare and airport transportation included so that you don’t have to lift a single finger. Then soak up the good life in a private water bungalow… See my previous post on the pros and cons of all-inclusive resorts here!
5. Cruise Life
There’s no doubt about it, I loved my cruise life with Royal Caribbean when we set sail for Bermuda last year. It’s basically along the same lines as picking an all-inclusive resort but set aboard one fancy ship. Restaurants, entertainment and more all in one spot. See my previous post about my first cruise experience here.
