A few weeks ago, I shared on IG Stories that my me and my friends spent a Saturday morning getting photos of our auras taken. Kind of a different way to spend a day out with your besties right? But not really because we always have the most fun when we’re doing something new and unexpected together. We’ve gone on a vampire tour in the French Quarter, had our tarot cards read, and eaten dinner in haunted restaurants. We have annual fancy hat brunches, Friendsmas dinners and more. Most recently, we got together to have a watch party for the Say Yes To The Dress episode that we filmed for my bffs wedding.
My point is, we LOVE any and every excuse to get together and make unforgettable memories. I wanted to put together a list of Galentine’s Day ideas to help you share the love with your besties not just this month, but any time of year!

Pizza + Movie Night
Always a classic and a people pleaser! I mean who doesn’t want to just show up in pajamas and channel your inner slumber party days? (Back in the day, we would also make our own pizzas too!) I think pizza and rosé should be a monthly girls night in.
Dessert Pot Luck / Bake Off
Okay, so I actually had a cookie decorating party in December, and it was SO much fun. I also love the idea of having a dessert bar with everyone bringing their favorite desserts to share. And dessert wine or cocktails? Hello chocolate martini!
Wine or Champagne Tasting
I’m actually surprised that me and my friends have not done this yet. This could be as simple as everyone showing up with a bottle of their favorite wine to sip or finding a local spot in town that offers tastings. Bonus points if there are charcuterie boards involved.
Mani + Pedi Date
Speaking of, I need to do this one asap, haha. I love a girls day of pampering like with spa manis and pedis. You could really do this one any time – not just for Galentine’s Day.
Okay, this one is for the more adventurous if you’re going to go out and find an actual karaoke bar. BUT the karaoke games they have available for Playstations etc are just as fun – and not as intimidating. I kinda love the dance off games too. SO much fun.
Face Masks + Pajama Party
I’m the queen of face masks – I even gift my friends sheet masks, lip masks, you name it. So I love the idea of having a spa night to trade beauty and skincare treatments. Plus what better way to try a new product than to A. Get recommendations from friends B. Not have to spend money until you know you love it.
Sunday Funday Brunch
Yesss order that pitcher of bottomless mimosas and cancel all other Sunday plans. The best brunches are ones where you forget what time it is and just laugh for hours with your besties over delish food!
A “Favorite Things” Party
I’ve never actually gone to a “Favorite Things” party, but I love the idea. Basically you bring one of your favorite things – but enough to give one to each person attending the party. So if you have a favorite chapstick or nail polish color, you’d bring one for each person in attendance. And you leave with everyone else’s favorites too. How fun is that?!
What’s your favorite way to get together with girlfriends? Would love to hear your Galentine’s Day ideas in the comments!
