Every birthday and Christmas, I get told that I’m the most difficult person to shop for by family, friends and even my own husband!! Of course, I think that’s preposterous – there are PLENTY of things that I would love to receive, haha. So I’ve been rethinking my holiday gift guides this year because I know everyone has that difficult person (aka me) to shop for on their list. Each week, I’ll have a new set of gifts for the girl who has everything.
This week I’m focusing on hair products – mainly because I think they get overlooked too often and every girl wishes for good hair days. Because let’s get real, us girls spend a lot of time and money on our hair, and we always need hair products as they continue to run out. I don’t know about you, but if Santa brought me a stocking full of dry shampoo, I’d be the happiest girl evaa.
Breaking down some of my all-time favorite hair products that I use regularly and why I love each one – and why they’d made a perfect gift set for any girl on your list. (AND HELLO, what about a gift card to that person’s hair salon too?!)

Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo + Triple Sec
I use this combo religiously. Not only because it smells phenomenal, but because it really does give my hair the perfect texture for styling. I go through this dry shampoo like no other, so I like to stock up! Dry shampoo is my BFF.
Most people sleep on silk pillowcases because it’s better for your skin, but did you know it’s also better for your hair? I sleep on my silk pillowcases every night to help prolong my waves and for better second day hair!
Okay, I know it sounds extra, but I also have two special hair towels. I do not dry my hair with our regular towels because they are rougher on the hair follicles. I am now a loyal fan of these super absorbent hair towels from Aquis. I have both of the versions pictured above and swap between the two of them.
Okay this deserves it’s own section because there are SO many Aveda hair products that I swear by. If you’re blonde, you definitely need to try the Blue Malva products to keep your color from turning brassy as well as the Color Conserve for color-treated hair. I use the Smooth Infusion and Thickening Tonic after every wash even if I’m just air drying my hair. Air Control always adds a little bit of life into my hair and smells amazing! I definitely encourage people to try out Aveda’s products or gift them!
I recently tried this shampoo and conditioner combo and am obsessed with it. It smells so good that I would catch myself just smelling my hair throughout the day. That sounds weird, but it’s true. If someone gave me the jumbo bottles of this, I’d jump up and give them a hug!
The first time anyone used this on my hair, I was at the salon and thought it was magical hair spray. So I told them to add it to my bill, and almost had a heart attack when I realized how much it costs. Needless to say, I don’t often buy this for myself, but if someone else bought it for me… that would be reeaaal nice. Worth the splurge if you’re looking for a nicer stocking stuffer idea.
I travel everywhere with my Drybar Buttercup travel dryer. This is the perfect gift idea for someone who travels often paired with some of the travel-size Drybar products. Their new curling wand is also ah-mazing!!
How sleek is this rose gold straightening iron? I’m in the market for a new straightener and want to give this one a try. You’ll have to let me know if you’re familiar with this one and have used it!
PS. Let me know if you think this was helpful – or if you’re excited to see more posts like this!
