Interval Treadmill Workouts + A TreadBR Giveaway!

 As I’ve mentioned here and there, I’ve started a new exercise schedule for myself this year, but I haven’t exactly mentioned WHAT it is. With one month down, I’m already starting to see and feel the difference in myself, and it’s from my TreadBR membership! Tread is a combination of interval treadmill workouts mixed with strength and core training.

I wanted to try Tread because a. I’ve had friends rave about it and b. I needed something that worked with my ever-changing schedule. With one full month down, I love that I’m never bored (the classes are different every day) and that I’ve been able to develop a more disciplined schedule for myself. In a typical week, I’ll take 4-5 TreadBR classes – see the full class descriptions here. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I’ll take the classic Tread class. Wednesdays is my Tread Circuit day, and Thursday is Strength and Stretch – love this one. On Fridays, I like to take the spin class to end the week. Even though my weekly schedule will sometimes change – I still like to take that same combination of classes even if I have to change up my class times.

A little backstory! Tread is Baton Rouge’s first treadmill based fitness studio. TreadBR has become so much more than a one-hour fitness class. Tread’s owner, Nicole, along with the fitness instructors, focus on building relationships within the community to inspire positive change.

Nicole wanted her reach to extend beyond the four walls of TreadBR and dedicated herself to investing in our community. She was a very active lululemon athletica Ambassador, leading and participating in local community events and goal setting sessions. She also coached a Girls on the Run team, a transformational fitness based learning program for 8 to 13 year olds. Nicole works tirelessly to offer health and wellness education and collaborates with local businesses to create healthy alternatives for those looking for a fitness family.

The staff of TreadBR offers education opportunities on all things health and wellness, fashion, and inspiration. TreadBR prides itself on the family feeling generated within its classes and events. It encourages clients to get closer to fitness and personal goals day by day, class by class.
