5 Mexico Packing Tips For Easy Outfits

Mexico has got to be one of the most fun travel destinations to pack for! I knew when I found this matching two piece set and these fringe Sole Society heels, they were coming with me to La Paz! (Don’t they scream “Krystal, you need to wear us with a margarita in hand?” Excited to share more of this outfit and a few more Mexico packing tips in today’s post!

1. Pack Light Colors

Packing light takes on a whole new meaning in Mexico because you’ll want to wear lighter colors to show off that sun-kissed tan. Try this matching set than can be worn together or separately. Plus, the light colors of this Sole Society handbag and these fringe heels will be versatile when it comes to pairing with outfits in your suitcase.

2. Play with Texture

Boring is a no-go south of the border. Add pops and ruffles – or in my case – fringe too! I love these Sole Society sandals that tie around the ankle. The chunky block heel adds comfort (and stability) after a few margaritas. Also available in blue and coral.

3. Prepare for the Elements

Packing a larger size crossbody like the Korah from Sole Society means you’ll never be without your sunscreen, hair brush for boat days (or horse rides) or room for all of your cute souvenirs!

4. Less is More!

Skip overpacking on outfits, and pack tons of swimsuits instead. This will give you more room for floppy hats and beach totes to enjoy your time in the sun! (Will be doing a full swimsuit recap very soon!)

5. Have FUN with Accessories

I literally wore these tassel bracelets the entire trip! They’re my favorite and look so cute when mixed with beaded bracelets. I also packed a lot of statement earrings and unique sunglasses. (Will be doing a full sunglasses post soon too!)
