Spring is my FAVORITE season. Hello, ruffles and florals and stripes and blush. I mean, these things are basically everything my blog is made for! So it only makes sense for me to especially love spring and all the sunshine-y things that it brings. I’ve set my sights pretty high this year, and I created a pretty fantastic spring to-do list for myself. Writing things down always gives me a bit more initiative to take action on my thoughts. So, I thought that I would share my little list along with this striped romper from Buddy Love that basically has SPRING written all over it!
Ps. I also did a to-do list for fall here – I’m all about the lists you guys!
If you’re not super familiar with Buddy Love, I know you are going to love it. They always have really fun printed pieces for under $100. Make sure to check out their new arrivals, get ready to swoon over their palm print + pink combo! Right now you can use BUDDYLOVESKRYSTAL for 20% off sitewide!
What are you guys most looking forward to doing this spring? I’d love to hear your suggestions if you have any to add to my list!

1. Plan a Brunch
My friends and I always try to have a “big hat brunch” during the spring. We pick a place in New Orleans and wear fancy hats. It also is just a really great excuse to dress up and drink champagne with your friends! So far we’ve done Galatoire’s and Brennan’s – I’d love to do tea at Windsor Court or Sucre as well! Will let you know what we decide on.
2. Tech Detox
I recently got a new iPhone – yay upgrade! And instead of transferring everything over from my old phone, I decided to start from scratch. You guys, it felt so good to have an empty phone. I’ve only been adding apps as I realize I need them, and I’ve been spending less time on my phone because of it! It’s a good time to go through your apps to delete the ones you don’t need. Also, upload all of your photos to your computer and start your Camera Roll anew – it’s a bit of a life changer!
3. Revamp Your Outdoor Space
We have long been procrastinating this one, but it’s time that we whip our back porch into shape. We definitely need new outdoor furniture – suggestions welcome on your favorites! I’d love to do some posts about this if I can actually get around to following through on this one!
4. Wardrobe Purge
I started to purge last spring’s wardrobe a few weeks ago, but I’m still not finished. I’ve got a ton more to get rid of! I’ll be posting everything on my Closet Sale site – you can access it via the tab up top that says SHOP > Shop My Closet. I know I’ll feel SO relieved once this one is finished. I might even do a post about how I purge my pieces if you guys are interested.
5. Start a Spring Reading List
Okay, I’ve definitely got to pick back up on my reading list. I can’t even remember the last real book that I read – that’s so embarrassing. I just ordered one that was suggested by one of my friends, and it gets here tomorrow. Would LOVE some of your favorite books that you’ve read recently. I’ll do a post with book suggestions too!
6. Head to the Farmers Market
I need to make more of an effort to visit my local farmers market. There is a great one on the weekends in downtown Baton Rouge. Not only do they have all fresh produce stands, there are also artist booths. A great excuse to get outside and enjoy the spring weather before it gets too hot here!
7. Beauty Purge
THIS needs to happen asap. I have so many old cosmetics that I need to get rid of! If I try a product a few times and don’t love it, it just winds up in one of my bathroom drawers. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even want to open that drawer because it gives me anxiety… I’d absolutely love to get rid of everything and start all over with my entire makeup bag. Again, this would be a great post if I actually do it!
8. Floral Arranging Class
I have always wanted to take a floral arranging class or even a flower crown demonstration. I think it would be so fun to do with friends, and you’d have a beautiful arrangement to bring home!

Thank you to Buddy Love for partnering on my spring to-do list post! As always all styling and opinions are my own!
