To get some ideas on what to share with you guys this spring, I went back through ALL of my blog posts from this time last year. Not only was it a fun little trip down memory lane, but I was able to spot all of my repeat outfit offenders. I noticed a few specific pieces that I literally wore over and OVER again. That gave me the idea to round up my top three must-have spring accessories and share them in today’s post with Sole Society!
I came up with the idea for this post before I packed for Charleston, so I must have been thinking about it subconsciously as I packed for my trip. I ended up packing ALL three pieces and wore them almost every day while I was there – further proving my affinity for them! (I’ll bet you can guess what they are just by looking at the first photo in today’s post!)

I’m excited to be starting the week off with a little travel inspiration for your spring trips! But, I have to tell you a secret because I can’t take all of the credit. When it came to planning the perfect Charleston girls’ trip itinerary, I had a little help! Jennifer Stuart of Explorateur Travel helped me put together the best itinerary for our time in Charleston and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible! From giving restaurant suggestions, walking tour options and our afternoon bakery stops, we were actually able to enjoy our trip instead of wasting a second wondering what to do next!
I’ve found that one of the biggest time sucks when we travel is trying to figure out where to eat on the spot. We also spend a a lot of time looking up the correct addresses to put into Uber or Google Maps. Jennifer sent us this amazing trip itinerary that synced with our iPhones so that we were able to quickly see our day in one glance. We could also click right onto specific addresses that were already included in the document. Lifesaver you guys! If you are interested in getting help planning your next spring vacay, let Jennifer help you – here’s her website: Explorateur Travel!

As I’ve mentioned here and there, I’ve started a new exercise schedule for myself this year, but I haven’t exactly mentioned WHAT it is. With one month down, I’m already starting to see and feel the difference in myself, and it’s from my TreadBR membership! Tread is a combination of interval treadmill workouts mixed with strength and core training.
I wanted to try Tread because a. I’ve had friends rave about it and b. I needed something that worked with my ever-changing schedule. With one full month down, I love that I’m never bored (the classes are different every day) and that I’ve been able to develop a more disciplined schedule for myself. See my post on how I’m making time to workout here.
I’m excited to team up with my new TreadBR family on a giveaway for not just one but TWO people! We really wanted to give away an unlimited month TreadBR membership (a $250 value) but also realize that not everyone lives in Baton Rouge to win. SO we’ve added in a second winner who will recieve activewear set from Tread’s monthly activewear capsule. Each month pre-selected activewear pieces go up on the TreadBR website that can be mixed and matched together! This month’s brands include Koral, Blanc Noir and Vimmia.
To enter to win, keep your eye out tonight for the giveaway post to go up on Instagram tonight at 8 pm CST!

It’s been a while since I treated myself to nice pajamas, so this Eberjey pajama set was my VDay gift to myself! They are so super soft, you’ll never want to go back to old t-shirts! (I wear a size M for a looser fit.)
I was afraid that I’d fall off my exercise routine once I started traveling this spring, so I’m using my BellaBeat tracker to monitor my activity each day. I can even monitor my stress on this thing! (There’s now a pretty rose gold clip!)
Speaking of flowers, when I got home from Charleston, I had the prettiest bouquet of farm-grown flowers from The Bouqswaiting on me! Even after 2 days sitting in the box (get a clue Jordan), they still look gorgeous! All flowers are grown on sustainable and eco-friendly farms that recycle rainwater and provide safe working conditions and fare wages.
You might have noticed that in lieu of February fashion week in New York, I decided to head somewhere a little bit warmer like Charleston. Growing up in the South, I’ve never been one to easily acclimate to cold weather, so when it was time to decide on whether to head back to NYFW this month, weather definitely played a huge part in my decision. In fact, it’s the reason why I’m not attending fashion week, and why I planned a Charleston girls trip instead!
Not only was I slightly traumatized last year – pipes were bursting all over the city, and we woke up every morning in our hotel with no running water – my winter clothing options were less than satisfactory for actual winter weather let alone running around the city. When Louisiana only has about two weeks of legit winter, you don’t really know how to prepare for 10 degree temperatures!
I actually ended up going home a day early last February. Whatever intuition kicked in was definitely right, because the very next day, snow dumped all over the city delaying and even canceling flights! So it just seemed like a better opportunity this year to check off one of my bucket list travel cities for the year (see that full post here). Don’t get me wrong, I do love NYC, and I do love NYFW, but I think I’m better cut out for September’s shows!
I’m currently working on my Charleston girls trip guide, but below are some of my LTK IG posts to give you a head start on travel outfits!
