Once again, I procrastinated finding outfits to wear to New York Fashion Week this month. It sneaks up on me EVERY time. A week beforehand, I’m always scrambling to throw together a few fashion-y outfits that are cool but also still… me. This time around I knew that I wanted to dress a little more casual (like I mentioned in yesterday’s post), so I thought the raw hem jean trend was the perfect way to marry casual and cool into one outfit. This is where Nordstrom comes through in the clutch! On-trend, budget-friendly and quick shipping – always keeps me from having a Fashion Police type moment in New York.

The trick to distressed denim is knowing whether you’re going to go full-on cool vibes or not. And I wouldn’t say I’m really that cool (lol), so of course I opted to wear a pair of polished heels and an embellished bag to keep the fringe hem from being too edgy on me.
Can you every have too many white tops? The answer is clearly no! This Madewell tie-front blouse is a fun take on the classic button-down shirt. It pairs well with all high-waist bottoms too, and I love how long it is in the back. It would be really cute with a faux leather mini with ankle boots! Gonna have to try that one!
A Chanel dupe at such a good price. I’ve had my cap-toe pumps for almost two years now and still reach for them constantly. They add a little bit of ladylike charm to any outfit. Plus, I love a comfy slingback style.
Probably one of my absolute favorite Rebecca Minkoff bags ever! One, because it’s blush. Two, because it’s beaded. Three, because I want to wear it with everything! Isn’t it adorable? I mostly have been carrying it without the shoulder strap, but it’s works just as well as a crossbody too.
