New Years Day marks the end of our holiday celebrations, and chances are you might need to just take a little “me time.” After all, the holidays are joyful, but they’re also pretty stressful. During the week between Christmas and New Years, you basically lose all sense of space and time, am I right? Routine disruption can really throw you for a loop – I know I’m definitely feeling it. Just in time for 2018, I teamed up with U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council and SIMPLY to put together a list of my favorite ways to hit refresh after the holidays!

1. Treat Yourself to Breakfast in Bed
Is there anything more indulgent than eating in your pajamas? This morning we made a plan to lounge and make blueberry pancakes. We have literally been going non-stop since Christmas, and we knew it was much-needed downtime for us.
I added a ton of blueberries into our batter and sprinkled on top because they are such an energizing little treat. We have some leftover that I’ll be adding to my champagne cocktails later too! (And to throw into my salads later this week.)
2. Take a Warm Bubble Bath
Bubble baths are my favorite during the winter. Toss in a bath bomb or some bath salts – you probably got some for Christmas right? I even recently ordered one of the bath tub trays that allows you to prop up your device to listen to podcast or read a book. Bonus points if you have one of those little bath pillows for your neck!
3. Catch Up on Your Netflix Shows
I don’t know about you, but I’m so behind on the DVR and Netflix. I have so many shows to catch up on right now. (I still haven’t gotten a chance to watch Stranger Things 2!) I wouldn’t mind vegging out on the couch all day tomorrow to catch up on my tv time!
