2015 Outlook – Half Full or Half Empty?
I used to be one of those people who thought New Year’s was overrated. And don’t get me wrong, the NYE party is overrated, but the idea of celebrating on December 31st is not. I started thinking more and more about it, and for me, it’s not as much about welcoming a new year as much as it is about celebrating the past year of life. A full year of a life filled with successes and failures, laughs and crying fits, triumphs and disappointments. A year of life lived to the fullest is reason enough to celebrate with as much confetti as you can throw!
I should know since I have been incredibly blessed in 2014, but what you might not know or have seen on the blog-side of things, that there have also been incredibly difficult times. I’ve had a lot of tough lessons to learn behind-the-scenes and struggles within myself that I’m still working on. And for this reason, I’m also celebrating the welcoming of 2015. Who doesn’t love a fresh start or an opportunity to continue living well?
Wishing everyone a prosperous and truly happy New Year!
