1. Use an efficient weekender bag or carry-on.

Packing for winter trips is the absolute HARDEST for me. As an avid overpacker, there has to be a strategy in place for fitting all of those coats, scarves and boots! Which is exactly why a generously sized weekender bag and/or carry-on bag is a must. For weekend trips, I love my faux leather weekender bag because it fits a ton but keeps me from packing unnecessary items.

2. Save space by wearing layers.

If I still can’t manage to fit quite evvverything that I want to bring into one bag (which is quite often), I’ll pull out bulky layers and wear them as my travel outfit. I love a good poncho for travel because it can double as a comfy blanket for the car/plane!

3. Believe in beauty products with staying power.

I’m the queen of excessive beauty products (no surprise, I’m sure), so traveling means sticking with the ones that will last 24/7. Over time, I’ve come to trust and rely on certain products that have become my on-the-go essentials including Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant. I have used this brand ever since college and am a believer in the all-day protection it offers! With Dove Dry Spray, you can literally shake, spray and go with no worries! It goes on instantly dry, offers 48 hours of odor and wetness protection, plus added skincare benefits – perfect for those sleeveless vacation looks!

4. Pack shoes that are as cute as they are comfy.

Shoes that serve double purposes are a must for travel days. I love the leopard print slippers in today’s post that can be worn as stylish flats for car and airplane travel. Get through airport security in style and in no-time! I like to keep foldable flats and and shoes like this easily accessible while I’m traveling.

5. Always bring something to keep you busy!

Make use of your time while you’re in the car or on the plane by bringing along things to pass the time. I always bring my planner and notebook in my carry-on so that I can still keep myself busy if there isn’t any wifi/electrical outlets available!
