HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER! It only seemed right to start off the new season with my summer bucket list. I’ve already checked off the first one – because last year I waited too late to visit the sunflower fields and missed them. We ventured out this morning not knowing if we were too early or if they’d be too short for photos, but oh my goodness, they are gigantic already! (If you’re in Baton Rouge, you’ll probably want to head out soon to see them!) Other items on my list are just fun ways to play tourist in my own city or any other city really. I wanted my list to be fairly easy (no pressure to complete) but also make me smile as I checked each one off. 🙂
Have you guys put together your own summer bucket list or do you have something I should add? Let me know in the comments below or on my Instagram!
It already feels like summer here in Louisiana – who else is ready to jump on into the new season? I’m LOVING jumpsuits for summer right – and they are everywhere (if you haven’t already noticed from my Instagram). There are so many good ones in new colors and prints. From ruffles to flares, I’m rounding up my favorite summer jumpsuits + the perfect sandals and accessories to pair with them.
Are you loving this longer take on the romper? I’d love to hear your thoughts and if you’re loving jumpsuits for summer as much as I am!
It took me a while (SO many details to include in this post!), but I’m excited to finally share my first-timers guide to Scottsdale with you today! My visit to Scottsdale was nothing short of memorable – including both me trying to become accustom to dry heat and flying above the Earth in a hot air balloon! If you are thinking about visiting, I’m sharing all of our activities in today’s full blog post – make sure to click through to see all the photos too!
Important note: I would suggest visiting in spring or fall. Our trip was in May, and everyone kept telling us that it was actually cooler weather than usual. While we got lucky with the weather, a lot of the cactus blooms were already gone.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Australian Gold. The opinions and text are all mine.
My time outdoors don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon, so I’ve been searching up a storm for the perfect sunscreen. (And with summer upon us, you should too!) Sunscreen is the one summer beauty product I swear by for minimizing sun damage, slowing down the aging process, and preventing sunburn. But, they’re not all created equal. I have always struggled with finding an affordable sunscreen that offers maximum protection without compromising my complexion. It wasn’t until I came across Australian Gold Botanical that I realized an amazing and budget-friendly sunscreen existed.
The Botanical collection features mineral sunscreen lotions and natural sprays all for under $20! To learn more about this lineup, keep reading!
Next week, I’ll be back in one of my favorite places – Cape Cod! Ever since visiting a few summers ago, I have been dreaming about returning to this part of the country. I’ll be there for the first part of the week for a work related trip in Nantucket, and then afterwards, Jordan will be joining me for the second half of the week. I can’t wait to share what we will be doing, but in the meantime, I’ve been outfit planning like crazy! See below for Cape Cod inspired outfits including my favorite preppy pleats, sweet stripes and crisp cotton picks.
Ps. I am also loving the Nordstrom 1901 brand that is perfect for summer in the Cape!
