I’m so excited that Spring is almost here because the start of a new season means the perfect time for a wardrobe update. Although swapping your cozy knits for flirty dresses and stylish mules can seem like an expensive and daunting task, it doesn’t have to be. I’ve been scouring the Internet for new trendy pieces from my favorite stores that look amazing yet don’t break the bank. So, whether you’re in the market for a new colorful accessory, a bold floral dress, or fresh new kicks, I’m sharing 6 affordable Spring fashion trends you should try this season.

When it comes to affordable Spring fashion trends, the first place I start is with brands I know that consistently provide high-quality, trend-right pieces. One of those brands for me is Halogen, which you can find exclusively at Nordstrom. What I love most about Halogen is that the price is never too high, the garments fit flawlessly, and the materials are consciously sourced (so important!). The brand also caters to my favorite trends season after season. As for Spring, you can find some of my most-loved pieces below now at Nordstrom!
1. New Denim Pieces
Denim has been the talk of the season, and I’m loving the fresh new denim pieces from Halogen. Try a pair of cropped wide leg jeans or a ruffle denim skirt. Take it as the perfect opportunity to show off a fun pair of sandals.
2. Lightweight Scarf
Give your wardrobe the subtlest upgrade through a lightweight scarf. Scarves are a great accessory because they’re so affordable yet can make a huge impact with the right print or color. With the unpredictable Spring weather, you can layer up with a bright wrap scarf or play it chic with a silk scarf.
3. Fresh Stripes
Stripes are such a classic pattern for Spring, but this season is all about bright colors and funky shapes. From pastels to saturated hues, mixed stripes or pinstripes, your options are endless. They’re perfect for casual Fridays at the office or weekend brunch. You can’t ever go wrong with stripes to create a casual and chic look.
4. Form-fitting Bodysuit
For an understatedly sexy look, try a bodysuit this Spring. Wear a lace bodysuit with your favorite pair of jeans and heels for an evening out and don’t forget to toss on a light jacket over. Bodysuits work great under everything whether it’s a cardigan or blazer – and look classy every time.
5. Bold Floral Prints
We all know florals aren’t groundbreaking for Spring, but I can’t think of a better way to step into the new season than with a bold floral print. Look for new and unique details like the ruching on this top as well as this crepe dress. Pair bold prints with nude or white shoes to brighten up your look.
6. Deconstructed Pieces
One of the Spring fashion trends I’m looking forward to trying is deconstructed tops and dresses. Think details like long loose sleeves, uneven hemlines or necklines, and tie details. Halogen has plenty to pick from and they all have me smitten.
What are your favorite trends for Spring? Don’t forget to check out the Halogen selection at Nordstrom and snag my favorite pieces!

Scarves are a must-have accessory because of their versatility. You can wear them around your neck or waist. I love to wear scarves over my hair for a bold fashion statement.
Happy Sunday!
