Special thanks to L’Auberge Casino & Hotel for the use of this beautiful suite for today’s photos. The entire time we shot on the property, it literally felt like a mini vacay with posh rooms and the most fabulous pool deck. It’s absolutely a must-see and must-stay the next time you’re in Baton Rouge or Lake Charles!

I’ve already shown a couple of posts on what I’m wearing, what invitations I’ve made and what wedding details I’ve been putting together, but I haven’t shown you what products I’ve been using to put my best face forward at all my wedding events so far. Plus, I’ve got a bit of a confession to make… I’ve never really used a foundation before, so with parties and showers in the forecast, I knew that I’d better find one that I trust and fast. Since I pretty much only wear powder, it was perfect timing that bareMinerals debuted their very first liquid coverage product – bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation.

This bareSkin product is a tone-correcting mineral foundation and brightening serum all-in-one, but more importantly, it contains no oils, no silicone, no water, no parabens and no fragarance. It’s literally a foundation that was 20 years in the making. Needless to say, I was convinced that I needed to give it a try, and now I’m such a fan that I’ve teamed up with bareMinerals to tell you how bareSkin is the perfect choice for busy brides.

The first opportunity that I had to try bareSkin was right after it’s debut and just in time for my bachelorette party in Vegas. The great thing about this foundation is that it can be used for light coverage or full coverage depending on how much product you use. A couple dots of product onto the foundation brush’s center opening will give you light all-over tone correction – the perfect amount for traveling. Add more product to get full coverage that’s perfect for a night out. I was able to use bareSkin for both day and night while on my trip instead of using two separate products like a tinted moisturizer and another foundation – bareSkin acts like two products in one!

Can’t wait to show you more posts coming up with bareMinerals!

This post was sponsored by bareMinerals, but all opinions are my own!
