I’m not heading back to class this semester, but maybe that’s why I was so excited to do this post. I can have all of the fun of back-to-school dressing without all the studying! I’ve teamed up with 9th & Elm, a flash sale site featuring handmade and independent designers, to show you a look perfect for September classes. Sometimes, I think about what I actually wore to class (sorority tees and shorts) and I wish that I had actually dressed better on campus. Today’s post is my opportunity to rectify those lazy outfits.
I picked out a gold Lily & Laura bracelet to add to my stack of bracelets that accessorize this Sugar Lips Futurama dress. This dress is super comfortable but also a lot of fun to wear because again, fit and flare is one of my favorite dress styles. It’s also universally flattering, and you can dress it both up and down. For example, I wore wore this dress last night with the heels from Tuesday’s post and a wide leather belt for an event after work.
Another essential pick for days on campus are these Sperry Seacoast boat shoes. I wore these ALL over Greece, and they never got uncomfortable. So, I can personally attest that they are perfect for walking from class to class and that long stretch to the parking lot. Some of you might be hesitant about the color, but I surprisingly wear them a lot more than I imagined! (They also come in neutral options too.)
