Remember that old rule about not wearing black and blue together? Yeah, I never understood why those two colors were not supposed to be friends. I mean they look so great together! Take for instance this Sachin & Babi Element dress that incorporates bright blue stitching on black and white abstract fabric. The fabric by the way fit like a glove – in a good way – because once again, you cannot go wrong with a fit and flare dress. It’s just an impeccable fit when it comes to flattering your shape no matter what it is.

For fall, I like to wear a bootie or strappy heel to give the more feminine silhouette of a fit and flare a more edgy look. The bold earring and cateye sunglasses along with the Parker satchel give the entire outfit a more polished and sophisticated look. And don’t forget a good lip color. Once again, I’m using the Stila Stay All Day product in Aria which has quickly become one of my new favorites for a good opaque color that lasts for hours.
