The only way I make it out of Black Friday and Cyber Monday alive and still with money in my bank account is by having a strategy. And part of that strategy is knowing exactly who you’re going to be shopping FOR and what area of gifts you’ll want to hit up first. So I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom, one of my favorite holiday retailers, in today’s post to share exactly what’s on my Black Friday shopping list this year! I’m hoping this will help you guys start making a list for yourself or others + maybe you’ll find something to add to your own wishlist. (I won’t tell.)
Remember, you can click on the HOLIDAY tab at the top of my site to navigate more gift ideas too!

Here are my Top 5 categories for my sale shopping this year:
I like to go sparkly and fun for this category, but finding that perfect gift for your bestie isn’t always the easiest. My friends and I pull names and try to keep our gifts around the $50 mark, so jewelry, beauty products and winter accessories are always good pick.
I like to call this category Stocking Stuffers, but really, it could be any item that’s super small and/or around $25. These are the gift items to look for when shopping for coworkers, White Elephant gifts, holiday hostess gifts, etc.
Got someone you wanna splurge on this year? Usually this category goes for mom or sisters, but it could also be items you put on your own wishlist. Because sometimes our guys aren’t always the most observant, but they do know how to use a list. 😉
Who doesn’t love cozy blankets, yummy candles and coffee mugs for all those hot chocolate nights? These gifts are fool-proof, and you can gift them to anyone from grandparents to in-laws or anyone who is hard to shop for!
Gifts for Yourself (YASS)
Because yes girl, you deserve to treat yourself. I normally end up buying myself something nice around Christmas not just so I’ll have something under the tree though. I like to look at it as an end of the year present after a year of hard work. Whatcha got on your list this year?
Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about the guys – a full post with Gifts For Him is coming up this week too!
