Stripes and circles – the most basic of the graphic elements but two of the most charming prints once you add them into an outfit. I thought, why not add both when I was planning for the Kate Spade presentation. It seemed like a very “Kate” thing to do. When narrowing down my bag options, I deemed the neon crossbody the perfect piece to break up the monochromatic color palette and create a little whimsy.

I also wanted to add a vibrant lip color but stay seasonally appropriate, I mean it’s September after all – that weird in-between summer and fall period. I knew I needed to stay away from a bright pink lip and decided to try out plum instead. I found a really good Stila Stay All Day (my favorite) shade called Aria. (Brighton is wearing it too in the last photo, so definitely a good color for both blondes and brunettes.)

I kept the jewelry very minimal and let the stripes do the talking for this look. With a more simple heel, I’d definitely pile on a big statement necklace though!
