Blank Canvas

Andddd now, finally some NYFW outfits! I found this amazing ivory culotte pantsuit literally days before I left for New York, so I had to express ship it in order to get it in time. Looking back now, I should have expressed shipped it to the hotel, because the package actually arrived after my flight, so Jordan so kindly overnighted it to me! Either way, I knew this piece (which actually looks like two pieces) was going to be my outfit for the Kate Spade S/S presentation!

Another item overnighted to my hotel? This Elliott Lucca Artisan Brigitte Satchel that comes in this insanely gorgeous floral pattern. With all of fall neutrals about to hit my closet, this bag will be a great element to bring in a little color to my outfits. The size is great too because I can wear it as a shoulder bag or crossbody without it being too heavy (also see my Instagram post today for another way I’ve worn it.) The Elliott Lucca Autumn Botanica print is new for Fall and is inspired by still-life oil paintings – something that this art major can greatly appreciate!

This outfit was by far the one I received the most compliments of while wearing. People loved the pantsuit! I later went to the Tresemme salon and had them put my hair into a gigantic, amazing topknot. It was the topknot of a lifetime, for real. (I also posted it on IG.) It seemed to more match the chicness of the jumpsuit. Although I wore the Brigitte satchel with ivory, I also can’t wait to wear it with solid black too!

These images were taken in front of our hotel, the NOMO SOHO, which has the most beautiful greenery covered archway leading into the hotel. It seemed like the appropriate spot to photograph the greenery on my bag.
