4th of July Style w/ Draper James

How many of you have already started looking for what to
wear for 4th of July and are either A. avoiding looking like a giant American flag or B. are looking for something you can wear more than just once a year? (I mean, I’m always okay going all out for themes on holidays like this, but this year, we are going to be in Cape
Cod and Nantucket, and I’m thinking that I need some options that are a little
more classic.) So who else would I turn to than one of my favorite Southern
belles when it comes to July 4th style tips? Yes, Reese Witherspoon
– give me all of the Draper James red, white and blue goodness!

If you’re unfamiliar, Draper James is Reese Witherspoon’s
Southern dream of a clothing and accessory collection filled to the brim with
gingham that will have you saying yes ma’am and dresses and skirts that will
have you pulling out your pearls. I’ve teamed up with the Draper James team to pull together a 4th of July inspired outfit from their newest arrivals including this adorable baby blue gingham button-down and their impeccably tailored navy shorts! And I can’t forget the finishing touches – a pop of red lipstick and the Totes Y’all bag!

See the entire Draper James outfit and how I styled it two different ways + get all of the outfit details in today’s full post!

I photographed a fundraising conference here recently. What a wonderful place for photos. I almost always hate being anywhere at 6am, but this breakfast event proved an exception. The manger and his staff from these lofty spaces were extremely professional.
