While in NYC for fashion week, handbag and shoe designer Elaine Turner hosted a fun blogger meet and greet for a few southern bloggers in front of the Lincoln Center. Here are a few of the behind-the-scenes photos, but there was a film crew there to document it all too!
The other bloggers invited were Jenn from Haute Off the Rack, Emily from The Sweetest Thing, Caitlin from Southern Curls and Pearls and Brighton from Brighton the Day. It was such a great opportunity for us to get some one-on-one time to talk to Elaine before her store event that evening. We also represented some major ET love with all of our Rachel clutches (you saw mine in yesterday’s post too.)
Elaine is the quintessential southern girl – completely down-to-earth and quick to drop a line about football season. I loved getting to chat with her about her fall collection and what’s to expect from her brand in the future. Getting to know Elaine reminded me that blogging has made the world so much smaller for me. Never would I have been able to meet and form relationships with the people that I have without my blog – including the bloggers in this post. Lots of love to my southern ladies in this post!

Y'all are all so cute! Looks like y'all had fun and more importantly – that you genuinely like each other. I've just been at this blogging thing for about 6 weeks and I'm already making new friends. It's been a fun experience so far.

September 24, 2014 at 1:00 pmOhh, cool week! Thanks for sharing that! I think prior to the last “storm” I went through, I have always felt hopeless during those harder times. But I’ve had some break through’s and now I understand how this all works. Hard times come but they don’t last forever. I can appreciate the harder times now because I know there’s A LOT to learn during them too!
