you got a little sneak peek into my dressing room visit when I was trying to
decide which dress to get from the NY & C Eva Mendes Fall Collection! It
ultimately came down to two – the polka dot midi dress in today’s post and a
camel knit fit and flare. Okay okay, I actually left with both of them… but
that’s beside the point.

Eva’s new collection with New York and Company are her
signature take on vintage-modern glamour that can take you from desk to dinner.
(And I’ve literally already done both of those in this dress.) This dress is
also ideal for Louisiana fall with its sheer sleeves and lightweight material!
Dress it up with heels like seen in today’s post or layer with a cardigan and
some booties.

The silhouette of this NY & C polka dot silk shirtdress
is so flattering because of the matching belt that cinches high up on the
waist. Eva Mendes is the best at wearing feminine and glam pieces with a little
bit of retro flare, so the other pieces in the collection are just as
impressive. A few of my other favorites are the accessories with suede heels

I was a little iffy when I was trying to decide on pairing
the polka dot print with the leopard crossbody, but I LOVE the color emerald
and leopard print together.  And now that
I’m seeing them both in the photos, I’m pretty certain that I made the right
decision. J
