Like I mentioned in my fall to-do list post, getting outdoorsy was one way that I wanted to embrace the season. And I think it’s pretty safe that between Stowe and Savannah, I accomplished just that. Figuring out what to wear for fall outdoor activities was a fun little project for me too though! (Seeing as how I’m not an outdoor type at all.) This outfit that I wore in Forsyth Park includes some of my favorite pieces for braving the outdoors including my new Sofft Baywood booties.

The Baywood bootie comes in rich sand leather that looks effortless but adventurous at the same time. I love the buckled details but also the leather cushioned footbed.
They also have a super flexible outsole which means you can accomplish your outdoor activities without worrying about your feet! I’ve also put them to the airport test, and they passed with flying colors. The perfect flat bootie for the girl on-the-go and your casual fall outfits!
I literally wear this Nordic Beach jacket everywhere – not just outside. I wear it around my house and while I’m working at my computer. I wear it in the airport and wear it in the drive-thru line. Everyone ALWAYS asks me where it’s from – literally like wearing a teddy bear hug.
Fall equals plaid and buffalo check. There’s no way around it. You need at least one buffalo check shirt in your rotation, and I love that this one is oversized to wear with leggings but also can be tucked in or tied at the waist!
Found an almost exact dupe for my favorite black high-waisted jeans which are probably hands down the most worn pants that I own. I think this pair might even have a lower price tag than my originals!
I’ve been wearing this tan wool hat a lot lately, and it’s an old favorite from last year. Luckily, it looks like there’s a very similar version back this year in tan, gray and black!
What’s your favorite fall outdoor activity?
