Yesterday, I introduced the matching two-piece set, and I’m back to show you the second way I’m wearing mine. Layer a fun tank like this flamingo coverup, or you can just wear the shorts alone with a tee or tank. I originally bought this coverup to wear on my bachelorette party, and I’ve been wearing it with my swimsuits and as a normal top ever since. The fabric is extra comfy and light which makes it great for layering. The pink brought out the floral pattern in the bottoms and gave me the opportunity to whip out my Wink and Winn bag – this bright pop of pink never gets old!

I planned this Etsy post with much excitement – tomorrow is the Spanish Town Mardi Gras parade in Baton Rouge. The entire parade is themed around pink flamingos, and it’s my first time getting to attend since I’m normally in New Orleans for Endymion. I’m really ridiculously excited. I mean, they throw PINK BEADS.

In case you’re wondering- yes, I will be wearing something on my head. All big events call for a headpiece in my book. 🙂

Pink flamingos are a must for us here in FL as well! Hope you have an amazing time, can't wait to see which piece of headgear you choose.
