Not every fall outfit calls for boots or booties, so I’m swapping mine out for a pair of sporty vintage Nikes that are perfect for days when you’re on your feet. These have been favorites of mine since our honeymoon when I wore them to the airport and on numerous parts of our trip to Greece. I’ve also got my eye on a couple other pairs that are equally as chic to pair with your leggings or skinny jeans like the Pre Montreal sneaker and the New Balance for J.Crew 620 sneaker.

I’ve been coveting a baby blue sweater to wear this year ever since I attended NYFW’s Fall 2014 shows in February. Pastels were all over the runway, but I particularly loved the baby blue coats and sweaters. Baby blue pairs so well with fall colors like navy, burgundy or black and bring a light and airy feel to fall outfits.
If you’re not sure exactly how to wear tennis shoes with leggings or are looking for more ideas, there are a ton of other examples on Pinterest like this one and this one. I’ve pinned several on my Outfits board as well!
