I had a set of meetings set up in Soho while I was in Manhattan, so when I found this Pixie Market dress, I knew it would be the perfect look. The gingham and smocking have all the makings of a toddler’s playdate outfit, but I’d like to think of it as a grown-up version of just that. The sleeve flounce is what originally drew me to the dress, and I also like that the unique waist of the dress keeps the oversized top from swallowing you – instead the waistline is super flattering.

If you haven’t yet heard of Pixie Market, it’s one of my favorite secret sites – I shop here to find cool stuff that no one else has yet. You won’t find anything on this online retail site anywhere else, and the styles are super unique and creative. It definitely pulls at my graphic designer side. Although some of the styles are kind out “out there,” it’s always a good time looking at it. OH and did I mention that the prices are super reasonable? Always a plus for me.

For some contrasting color, I wore my wine Gigi Madison crossbody bag. (Had it been night time, I would have thrown on a wine lipcolor to match!) The bib necklace is from Fab Finds Boutique – I’m loving the new coin bib trend – it’s even got me throwing some silver pieces into my jewelry now.
