Jetsetting

It’s a pure coincidence that in today’s post, I’m sharing both the Henri Bendel Jetsetter backpack and the Yumi Kim Greek Keys romper. Just sounds like a bunch of wanderlust in one sentence right? I must have subconsciously had a getaway on the brain when I picked these two out! And good thinking because I packed both of them for Cabo. 🙂

I had been going back and forth about jumping onto the backpack bandwagon, and I finally decided that if I was going to do it, I might as well do it colorfully. I picked the turquoise Jetsetter backpack as my first backpack since undergrad because it was bright and colorful and screamed ‘Yes I am totally embracing backpack life.” And let me tell you guys, it feels good. Even distribution across the shoulders while traveling – I forgot that it was so much better than having a heavy bag on one shoulder while rolling your carry-on around desperately in the airport. I’m going to be taking the Jetsetter with me into Pedregal when we go explore too! (If you’re not sold on the color, it also comes in many pretty neutrals too.)

Side note: I totally saw someone in the Cabo airport with the very same bag in yellow!

If you’re interested in this romper, I just wanted to mention that I did size up in this one. I’ve normally gotten smalls in my dresses from Yumi Kim, and this is the first time I’ve worn one of her rompers. Super glad I sized up for extra length in the torso – the small definitely wouldn’t have been an option! This is also a very different print for me since I usually go for all of her super bright and floral prints. I’ve definitely been on a teal/turquoise kick though – maybe it’s the season change! I’m mentally prepping for my transition not fall color palettes?

Ps. I also posted another brighter YK romper in yesterday’s post. (Plus, I just posted a YK pantsuit on Instagram too!)
