How To Wear the Classic White Button-Up

Owning a classic white button-up is a no-brainer, right? Well then WHY did it take me so long to actually find one that I love this much? I’ve been wearing mine quite a bit lately both by itself and layered underneath sweater like the bright, ruffle shoulder sweater in today’s post. The white button-down is one of my favorite basics right now for pre-spring, so I’m sharing one way that I recently wore mine and linking below to some similar styles.

If you’re interested in mine, it’s from Boden and was also in this post with a Boden striped dress. It’s oversized and called their “girlfriend” fit. Instead of being boxy like a boyfriend fit blouse, this version has a slimmer cut. The material is really nice and retains it’s shape well. This exact shirt from Boden is also available in other colors as well. Might be going back for the blue and white striped version… Another recent purchase from Boden – my leopard flats that are now sold out. Super sad about that, but they are also available in other colors.

PS. I recently swapped from my Axis tote to my new spring stripe monogram tote from Barrington Gifts! (My tote is the St. Ann tote.)
