Most days in the summer, I just want something easy and flowy to wear – the temperatures get SO hot down here, you really don’t want any fabric sticking to you for long. My go-to during summer weekends are loose tees and flowy shorts. Think lots of light, cotton fabrics. But it’s easy for comfortable to turn into frumpy. How do you prevent it? Editing!

Bring in some on-trend elements like patterns or typography tees. Palm print is one of my immediate favorites – the greens and turquoise hues look SO good next to tan skin. Plus, you can pile on the turquoise bracelets. I added a bright citron bag which also pairs well with both green and black.
I’ve already admitted to being a complete hoarder of these, but typography tees do not appear to be going away anytime soon – because doesn’t everyone have something to say? They make excellent, personal gifts too! I’d like to also pair the one from today’s post with white jeans or tie it and knot it over a dress or romper.
What’s your summer uniform?
