One of the top items on my list when I was prepping mentally for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale – denim flares. Getting denim on sale BEFORE fall is a major deal because these jeans most likely won’t be on sale again until a. all of your size is out of stock b. it’s not time to wear jeans anymore. So I knew that one of the first things that I would add to my cart would be a quality pair of flares. I know I already included them in my Nordstrom Sale Denim Roundup, but I wanted to show you what I ended up deciding on and this oh-so-comfy striped sweater that I also scooped up at the same time – I love that it’s so oversized which means I can totally lounge in it too.

I know it’s not entirely time to wear jeans yet, but I’ll be wearing these bad boys to work on Casual Friday because they are just too good to keep in the closet until October. I’m also loving this oversized striped sweater because it’s not a heavy sweater – it’s actually pretty light-weight and good for chilly days in the office too. I swear, everywhere in our building except for my office is like the Klondike. I’m a naturally cold person so I predict this sweater will be worked into the mix sooner rather than later!
