NYFW Brunch with Oasis

OK phew finally – some NYFW action is now on the site! I’m going to start off my recaps with a very special brunch that we shared with Oasis at the beginning of our trip. It was a rainy day in Tribeca, but we didn’t let that stop us from conquering those cobblestone streets to get a breakfast of champions at Sarabeth’s. Oasis was so gracious to host us for a meal after a very early Rebecca Vallance presentation. I decided to wear one of my favorite Oasis pieces – this patterned jumpsuit – with my versatile white vest layered over it. (Wore that vest multiple times in NYC!)

See more of my Oasis pantsuit and more behind-the-scenes at our brunch in today’s full post, BUT please excuse my rained-on hair and overcast lighting (insert scared face emoji.)

special thanks to Oasis for hosting us at brunch!

Right off the bat, I’m going to let you guys know that I kept all of my NYFW outfits super reasonably priced and attainable. The only outfit that I wore that was totally out of my realm of spending was a Nicole Miller Atelier dress that they offered to let me wear for her show (I totally had to give it back) and my Valentino flats that I spent years saving for. One of the biggest bummers for me when I see fashion week posts – or on bloggers in general – is seeing something that I love and then seeing the cray price tag, so I made it a mission to dress well and on a budget for fashion week. So if you see something you love from my posts, there’s a good chance that you can also make it yours!

I love the Oasis brand for this exact reason because I can find unique and interesting pieces on their site without having a heart attack upon checkout. Two of my fashion week outfits were from Oasis, and I wore them both with the white vest. Oasis is also carried on ASOS, so you might have already become familiar with this British brand without even knowing it!

You can see most of my NYFW outfits linked on or they will also be hitting this site over the next week!
