It’s been a while since I’ve done an entire post on my Walmart fashion finds – although you can find a ton of my recent purchases on my liketoknow.it page. And y’all, it seems like the shoe lineup at Walmart keeps getting better and better especially with this year’s boot and bootie selection. I recently snatched up a pair of under $30 combat boots while in-store, and that pair has since sold out online! Things are selling fast y’all!
Before things start to sell out for winter, I wanted to round up some of the top picks that I found on the retailer site that were still available in most sizes and look like they could be much more expensive, designer versions. I’ve organized them in three categories depending on what your closet might be needing this season: outdoor + cold weather, casual styling, and all dressed up.
Other categories you don’t want to miss this season:
If you’ve shopped Amazon Prime Day before, you know there’s a lot of nonsense to cut through in order to find the best deals. For some (insane) people like myself, that’s the fun part. But if you’d rather cut to the chase and find out what’s actually worth it, I’ve already done the work for you!
I awoke early this morning to start my sale scavenger hunt, and I’m feeling pretty confident about the picks that I’ve rounded up. I’ve sorted them into categories in case you’re looking for specific items + the giant product collages can tend to get overwhelming, right?
This year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 is different in many ways – namely being pushed back to due to coronavirus. But unlike any other year, you could actually see EVERYTHING in the sale. You can’t shop the items quite yet depending on your member level, but you can add them to a shopping wishlist giving you the ability to plan your order well in advance. In year’s past, the first day of the sale has felt more like a free-for-all to throw whatever is left in your size into your cart before it sells out.
The advantage is now having the ability to budget and curate your wishlist accordingly for when your Nordstrom card membership level is allowed to start shopping. Speaking of, there have been changes and additions to this year’s shopping levels:
While tons of brands will go on sale during this event, there are a few that always fly off the shelves first, which also happen to be some of my favorites. Keep an eye out for these best-selling categories:
This sale can be overwhelming to navigate if you don’t have a need list or wishlist already prepared. There are literally hundreds of pages of sale items that can take some serious time to pour through. That’s where I come in – I’ll be saving you time and sharing all the top picks from the sale across multiple categories. Make sure to:
I recommend making purchases online so you can avoid going in-store and find your exact size without the hassle. If you want your items immediately, you can set the check out option to “Pick Up In Store” – or have your items delivered to you curbside.
Remember that you automatically earn free Nordstrom dollars to use towards purchases whenever you make a purchase in-store or online (including at Nordstrom Rack). Take advantage of this opportunity to earn some cash for future purchases.
If you are just applying for a card, you can use it to shop online or in stores instantly as long as you’re approved. You do NOT need to have the physical card to shop the event.
I couldn’t let the month of July pass by without rounding up my outfits under $50 from Walmart – it’s basically a monthly series now! I’m excited to see the emergence of some early late-summer, pre-fall styles and prints that are easy to start wearing right now. And I also want to call out that there are currently a TON of rollbacks happening across the fashion category, so make sure to click around for the deals.
A few things I wanted to call out from the collage:
Can you guess which things I have my eye on? (Hint: The entire top of the collage!) I also want to highlight the fact that I can order things like cute clothing online all in one cart with other household products that we need instead of having to checkout across multiple sites. (Have you taken advantage of Walmart’s grocery pick up on the app? It’s so easy.)
Just when I thought Walmart had dropped the BEST summer fashion collection, they went an dropped ANOTHER round of summer outfits under $50 this month. This time, we are seeing a lot of bold prints and colors to contrast last month’s pastel hues. The swimwear category has been updated with more cute styles as well. And I’m not kidding – no one is going to believe you if you tell them you found them on Walmart. Even if you don’t have a pool, just add one to your cart. We have this inflatable pool for only $40.
