What are you guys picking up for your mom this week?
Filling up your closet with the latest trends each season can be fun but expensive, which is why I’m such a fan of mixing up my closet with more affordable pieces. I definitely think the classics, like a leather jacket, are worth investing in, but when it comes to trends, I’ll usually opt to save. It’s been hard to shop in stores with Bennett, so I’ve been taking advantage of places with quick shipping. This season, I’ve been super impressed with the spring outfit pieces at Walmart. I’ve already been taking advantage of Walmart’s free 2-day shipping (available on most orders over $35) for household items, so why not add some clothing picks in my cart too? Plus, the luxury of free returns makes the entire online shopping experience so easy!
Below I’ve rounded up the best spring trends you can shop today at Walmart on any budget.
A new month with new outfit arrivals! What I’m seeing is a TON of woven bags and lightweight fabrics! I’m so in love with all of the spring and summer sandals that are now here as well. I rounded up a ton of my favorites, BUT there are so many more too that I’m including below the collage as well. Excited to start using some of these pieces to create some may outfit ideas for you here on the blog and on Instagram!
Although I’d heard this so many times, I’m finally realizing first-hand that maintaining a marriage post-baby requires a lot of time and energy – the two things I can’t get enough of right now. Between the late-night feedings and constant diaper duty, finding quality time with Jordan feels like an impossible stretch. It’s been a little bit over a month, but I’m already learning so much about relationships (and patience!) after a baby. The first time we left Bennett at home to go eat dinner, I teared up no less than seven times. But now, I totally understand why the two of us getting out of the house is so important. Dishing some of my thoughts on why having regular date nights are so essential to prioritize each week.
PS. Soma is offering up to 40% off your order including the dress in today’s post!
As a first-time mom, I learned that a lot of people tell you how to prepare for pregnancy. BUT no one really talks about what happens after the baby comes. So I wanted to dedicate a post with all the things that I’ve learned thus far into the 4th trimester. (We are officially over a month in now!) I feel like I’m literally learning something new every day at this point, but these are the biggest lessons that I’ve taken away from life post-pregnancy.
