Who else is craving a little bit of sunshine? It might just be me and the fact that I’ve been spending quite a bit of time at home lately, but I could 100% use some beach time before the baby comes! One of the most crucial tools for managing my blog and planning maternity leave is definitely my editorial calendar. At the beginning of every month, I like to sit down and plan out everything for at least 2 months in advance. This helps give me a clear vision of what I need to accomplish with deadline attached. But now that we’ve got a baby on the way, I’ve taken it a step further and have my blog content mapped out through the end of April! Within my editorial calendar, I schedule the topics I want to cover, including those requested by you guys, as well as brand partnerships. Having a dedicated agenda to just my business really allows me to prioritize my responsibilities. Some of you had several questions on how to manage an editorial calendar, so I’ll be covering that in today’s post!
The last time I published this post was TWO years ago in 2017 after starting to work from home! I had just started listening to my first podcasts while looking to fill the coworker void. I would scan relevant webinars and podcasts throughout the day to make sure I was keeping up with personal development skills that I was used to getting from a “normal” job. Now the podcast world has become an abundant sea of inspiring podcasts aimed at creative entrepreneurs and personal growth!
Because I’ve changed my listening preferences and my business has also changed, I’ve added new favorites to my rotation, so I wanted to update this post with my current listens. AND I’m even sharing which one I was recently asked to be a guest on for my first ever podcast interview!
Would love to hear your favorites in the comments so that I can check them out too!

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner – do you guys have big plans? If so, there are so many gorgeous new dresses and pantsuits out right now. Although I can’t really squeeze the bump into most of the new styles, I can dress up with a new pair of heels and earrings still! (And a new bag, of course. I’m loving the fresh spring options from The Daily Edited.) See below for a few ideas for your February date night outfits!
I can’t believe that we are already down to a 7 week countdown over here! The weeks have really been flying by even now that I’m in my third trimester – when people said the days would start to drag. (I think they might even be flying by faster?!) And now, I finally have some overall perspective on my own pregnancy health and how I’ve been staying active even on those “off” days. In today’s post, I narrowed it down to the 5 easy and relatable pregnancy health tips that I’ve been living by the past 33 weeks.
And staying healthy means finding activewear and athleisure pieces that work during different stages of pregnancy. I’ve posted about Jockey’s comfy pajama options before, but I’ve been wearing several Jockey activewear pieces well into my third trimester. A few of my favorites (sized up in all of them for the bump):
• This oversized, super soft long-sleeve tee that even fits over the 33-week bump.
