Pink Pick-Me-Up

Is everyone struggling after a pretty spectacular weekend? I know I am. The weather here was AH-mazing, and we spent a ton of it outdoors. There may have been sangria and birthday cake and outdoor music and all of the things spring weekends are made of – and now it’s back to the grind. And how the heck am I supposed to be optimistic about spending this week behind a desk? : /

On Mondays like this, I’ll pull out something like this pink plaid Tolani shirt for a little beginning-of-the-week pick-me-up. It’s kind of impossible to be in a bad mood wearing this guy, dontcha think? (It also comes in a sleeveless version.) And I thought I couldn’t love plaid any more than I already did…

And, I know I already kind of talked about this on Instagram already (@apinchoflovely), BUT these are kind of the most fun shoes that I’ve ever owned. The fringe literally bounce around your feet as you walk, and the first time I put them on, I busted out in some sort of river dance moves in front of Jordan who watched on un-impressed. I promise you will want to tap dance around too if you try them on. SO fun. They are Very Volatile – one of my favorite shoe brands.
