I must admit, the thought of wearing leather right now makes me instantly start sweating. My moto jackets and faux leather leggings have a few weeks before they are even seriously considered, but luckily, I’ve found a piece I can wear now to tide me over. This faux leather skirt from Chicwish is a great option to wear now with an oversized, light-weight turtleneck like the purple one in today’s post. Just disregard all of the wrinkles since these photos were taken after a long day at work… : /
But speaking of work, this pleated leather skirt is also a conservative way to wear the leather look to the office. I paired it with my black lace-up flats and Barrington Gifts St. Anne tote in the Axis print. I feel compelled to mention that this bag is printed to look like fur – it is NOT really fur. I have so many people come up and pet my bag thinking that it’s actual fur! Just wanted to throw that out there since maybe it’s hard to tell by the photos? Or maybe that’s a good thing?
I can say that it’s actually a good thing that my St. Anne tote isn’t really fur because I would have totally messed it up by now. I can easily wipe it clean and not worry about all of the possible spills that might wind up on it. It’s also super lightweight and allows me to pack it full of stuff without any of the added material weight.
If you have any questions at all about the bag or are in town and would like to see it in person, shoot me an email – [email protected]!
