5 Positive Affirmations to Start the Week

In celebration of the the month of love, I wanted to kick off February with a self-care post. Although I love spending Valentine’s Day with Jordan and we make an effort to celebrate every year, I also firmly believe in self-love. As Carrie Bradshaw says, “Don’t forget to fall in love with yourself first”! One of my favorite ways to practice self-care is through positive affirmations because they provide clarity and encouragement in my thoughts. Below, I’ve shared five positive affirmations to start the week.

1. I am blessed with an incredible partner, family, and wonderful friends.

Being surrounded by positive, supportive people is integral for happiness. Not only that, but you have to trust that your family and friends truly support and believe in you. I love this affirmation because it uplifts and motivates me on my worst days. I mentioned in my 2018 resolutions that I want to be present for my family and friends and doing so will help reinforce this thought.

2. I am full of beauty, charm, and grace.

Self-love helps exude self-confidence. This affirmation is knowing that you have flaws but focusing on the positive aspects. I believe in loving myself for who I naturally am, and I believe everyone has a right to this. When you feel good about yourself, you naturally attract people who respect you as a unique individual.

3. I am worthy of great things, and I deserve to be successful.

Achieving your dreams is all about believing that you ARE enough. You have to believe in yourself – that you are organized, smart, and most importantly, committed to achieving success in every part of your life. And then, watch it unfold.

4. I celebrate each goal I accomplish with joy and gratitude.

This affirmation is all about acknowledgment and gratitude. I personally feel that in order to achieve BIG things, you have to be grateful for the little ones. I am always so humbled for the big and small wins, and I celebrate them all with joy and gratitude.

5. I stay focused on my vision and pursue my daily work with passion.

In a career like blogging, it’s easy to fall into a routine and lack creativity. Therefore, I consciously seek new ideas and exciting avenues every day to inspire and motivate me. I’ve realized that in order to feel happy about my work, I must be passionate about the small tasks. Although it gets incredibly difficult, focus is key.

I encourage you to use positive affirmations weekly or even daily to create a positive outlook and inspire positive change for yourself!
