Let me explain. My obsession with the raw hem denim trend started about a month ago when I saw this unidentified photo on Pinterest – you know the ones you click that lead you to nowhere and don’t tell you where to find the original image. (Insert mad face emoji) It was a photo of a pair of really cool jeans with unfinished hems. They were perfectly frayed and for someone who loves symmetry, I was actually very mesmerized by those asymmetric pant legs and was tempted to butcher a pair of my own pants just to have a pair. Well thankfully I was able to avoid a Pinterest fail because I found basically an exact pair recently from Express!

I can just hear my mom saying “WHY would you spend a lot of money on pants that look destroyed,” BUT ha – I didn’t spend a lot of money on them. In fact, I got these jeans for less than $50 because Express was running a sale on denim when I ordered them! (aka I also bought two other pairs)
You guys, I just realized that the sale is STILL going on. These jeans, and all of the other denim styles on Express are marked down 40%, so I am sharing these gray distressed jeans that I’m obsessed with in today’s post, but I’m also sharing the other two pairs that I picked up:
Go true to size, I got these in a long because I’m 5’9
TTS + these come in three different lengths!!! Full post coming soon.
TTS + these are already a new favorite to wear with heels!
I’m going to be posting all three of these jean styles on Instagram and in blog posts, but I wanted to give you a heads up since I do not have photos of all versions yet. But trust me, you will not find a better trend jean right now for a better price right now. I’m very very impressed with the quality and fit of all three styles that I ordered.
