A swimwear sale post and a beachy travel post all in one day – are you getting the itch to jet set yet? Please take me back to this beach day in Bermuda where we traveled off the beaten path – or rather off the beaten tourist shuttle – to check out Jobson Cove. This actually came from a recommendation from one of Kathleen’s readers when she asked them where to go in Bermuda on her Instagram account, and MAN was it a great recommendation!
As soon as we all got off the cruise ship and jumped onto our little shuttle, all of our fellow cruise mates were en route to Horseshoe Bay Beach. Horseshoe Bay Beach has consistently been voted one of the best beaches in the world, but it’s also one of the more crowded. All of the shuttles drop off here with tourists and cruise boat regulars. BUT we asked our shuttle driver if she could drive just a bit further and drop us off at Jobson Cove for a more private, secluded piece of real estate. You’ll notice no one is even around me in these photos. We had a huge chunk of beach to ourselves!
The catch was that no shuttles actually will pick you up from Jobson Cove, so our shuttle driver pointed out a beach side trail that we could follow to reach Horseshoe Bay Beach when we were ready to catch the shuttle back. Super easy walk and even some pretty stunning views along our walk. If you are planning a Bermuda trip and enjoy a little private beach action on the pink sand, definitely write down Jobson Cove! And I even found a little rock with me and Jordan’s initials carved into it. 🙂
I wore my PilyQ scallop swimsuit in bright orange (it also reverses to black) and PilyQ lace coverup. (Swimsuit also available here in gold.) LOVE both of these pieces from Wala Swim. If you haven’t checked out Wala Swim, I highly recommend – they are carrying the cutest swim styles from some pretty awesome brands.
