What’s in My Skincare Drawer

For my first IGTV video, I’m walking you guys through my skincare drawer to share the products I’m currently using + why I’m loving them so much! While I was thinking about doing this video, I also wanted to have a go-to post where all the products I discuss are linked for quick access. So below, I’m sharing my serums, exfoliators, masks, skincare tools and more. Head over to my Instagram (@apinchoflovely) (will go live around 5 pm CST on 7/8) and click the IGTV button in my bio to watch the full video!

Ps. Next video will be the MAKEUP drawer!

Shop the Post:

Face Serums + Creams

Skin Ceuticals CE Frulic

As seen in my IGTV video, I stock up on this product! I pat it on lightly in the morning around my eye area and forehead. I LOVE stuff. It made me a Skinceuticals fan for life – it builds collagen and replenishes lipids to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fade dark spots. I always dab this on my lentigo spot.

Cosmedix Liquid Crystal Eye Serum

(Now packaged differently than seen in my video. See my full blog post about this brand here. ) I use this eye cream at night because it’s a little too thick to wear during the day. It’s super nourishing, and when I use it, I wake up bright-eyed and without any trace of dark circles.

Dr. Brandt 24/7 Retinol Eye Cream + Complex Serum

Both are lightweight enough to wear during the day and at night, and they absorb quickly. I find retinol can be drying, but these products have not dried my face at all. I always pack this duo when traveling when I’m not able to pack a lot of products.

Aveda Tulasara Wedding Mask + Eye Mask

I’ve written about these products here. They seal in moisture so you wake up with bright, recharged skin.

Neck Products

Philosophy Hope in a Jar

I use this specifically on my neck and décolletage because of it’s all day hydration to keep these delicate skin areas moisturized without being heavy or greasy.

Strivectin Tightening Neck Serum Roller

Okay, I love this thing. A lightweight serum is applied via a massage roller that tightens and contours the jaw line and neck. TONS of positive reviews of this one on Ulta! (The roller on this product is much like a jade roller – see below for more info on that.)

Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Mask

Wrote about this mask here in a full post. I always feel immediate results from this one.

Rodial Hangover Mask

I wrote about this mask and why I like it HERE. A mask you RUB off instead of wash off!

Arcona Wine Mask

I use this mask after I’ve used my retinols and my skin needs some major moisture. This one is for dehydrated skin with lots of nourishing ingredients. Perfect for fall and winter skin or skin that’s dry from the summer sun.

Tata Harper Clarifying Mask

Wrote about this brand here. I literally only wear this mask when I have hormonal breakouts because it REALLY works, and I want to save it up for only those times when I need it since the product is so small. Also seen in the video are the Clarifying Moisturizer and the Hydrating MaskSee more of my favorite masks in this previous post.

Lip Products

Dermalogica Nightly Lip Treatment

After running out of the brand’s lip renewal product, I decided to try their nightly lip treatment. Let me say this is NOT a lip balm – it’s a serum that helps restore skin volume on and around the lips, so I still use a moisturizing lip balm afterwards. (I read a lot of reviews of people saying it dried their lips, but I think it’s due to them using in place of a normal lip balm.) I love the metal applicator and apply after brushing my teeth.

Pixi Peel and Polish

The most budget-friendly brands on the list, and one of my favorites! This mask could easily pass for one that’s way more expensive. I leave it on for 5-10 minutes and then work it into a lather on my face for extra exfoliation leaving my skin super soft.

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Exfoliator

After trying a sample size, I decided that I LOVE this scrub. Leaves skin feeling glowy and vibrant. Particles are so super small that they seem to whisk away all the gross stuff on your face!

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate

(Not seen in video but I keep this in my travel bag.) Smooths and polishes my skin which is why I love to bring it with me while I’m out of town. It’s like a mini-facial while on-the-go!

Jade Roller

By far my new favorite thing to do after applying my skincare products! Jade rollers are great for your lymphatic system aka decreases puffiness and increases circulation. (Think of it like dry brushing for your face.) But what you might not know is that rolling helps open up pores to help skin products absorb faster. When I do this in the morning, my face feels AWAKE.

Yep, I shave my face. I shave my face once a week – usually on Sundays. It’s one of my favorite things to do actually! I buy Tinkles in bulk from Amazon. Shaving your face is a great way to shed dead skin, open up the pores for skincare products, and stimulate collagen production. (For the proper way to shave your face, there are a TON of YouTube video tutorials!)

Crystal Smooth

Wrote about this little tool here! This is a handheld microdermabrasion device that buffs away dry and dead skin cells. Different “brush” heads available for sensitivity levels.

Okay what do you think? Which do you think you’d want to try out first?
