Plaid and Colorblocked

Let’s talk comfortable fall dresses real fast because when you’re dealing with layers, you want to be comfy, right? That’s why I’m loving this Kingdom and State colorblock dress that is sweatshirt material. It will make you want to lounge around your house while wearing it even if you’ve had it on all day. I layered mine with my plaid puffer vest from last fall – now back in stock this year! (It must have been so good that they decided to bring it back!) It was the ideal dress and vest combo to wear around New Orleans over the weekend. I also wore my Isola booties in suede and leather and Barrington Gifts St. Anne tote in axis print!

Sizing suggestions:

For reference, I’m wearing and XS in both the dress and the vest. I have four of these J.Crew puffer vests, and I find that the XS is the best size on me so that it doesn’t look too boxy, so size down!

Love that vest! Is it thin? I know it was pretty warm here this weekend (i'm in Baton Rouge) and I like the idea of vests but I don't want one that's too puffy or too warm. I love the plaid though. Moving down South here to Louisiana has thrown me for a loop as to what to wear for winter since its not that cold usually but I want to wear fall and winter themes and colors. So this kind of vest is a nice theme and print that says winter
