Let the title of this post do the talking because lace up sandals are one of the biggest trends for spring and summer. You’ve already seen me sporting several pairs and have been wearing them non-stop! They’re a little less trendy than sandals covered in fringe and are easy to dress both up and down – so if you’re looking for a safe footwear trend to try this season, let me introduce you to the lace up sandal in an assortment of neutrals (and I had to include some poms too).

Have you guys noticed that I’ve been wearing a ton of neutrals lately? (Well okay, I mean more neutrals than I normally would wear.) Instead of opting for a lot of colored clothing items, I’ve been wearing neutrals on repeat accompanied by bright accessories. It may partially be the fact that I want to live in these black skinny jeans, but let’s pretend for a second that I might have actually stepped into some bright bag phase of my life. I’m totally okay with that. But this red tote from Poverty Flats by Rian might have also caught my eye because of the festive holiday spirit that seems to have bitten me lately. I’ve been rocking a red lip like no other the past few weeks, and I think that it has influenced my handbag rotation too!
Today’s look is a simple ivory and black combo paired with gold metallic pumps and a pearl statement necklace, but the real pop comes in with the handbag and scarf. I was drawn to this asymmetrical ivory top because of it’s puffy sleeves. (I like your puffy sleeves. Napoleon Dynamite anyone?) I just sort of liked how they seem so voluminous but in real life they are really soft and easy to move around in. IF IT WERE COLDER outside, maybe I’d get to layer underneath this top… Still holding out for that. : /

Sequins and fancy dresses are always an obvious choice for holiday outfits, but what about the occasions that don’t call for cocktail attire? Whether it’s Christmas or New Years you are celebrating, I have an outfit idea for a casual holiday party in today’s post. Grab a great pair of liquid leggings and this oversized, gold flecked blouse from ShopbellaC. You’ll be comfortable (these faux leather leggings are super stretchy) and SO cute in this top that is the perfect length for leggings.
Check out ShopbellaC‘s other great top options on their website!
I also grabbed a pair of gold lace-up flats during Black Friday sales (I’m keeping an eye out to see if they get restocked) and my red Gigi New York Chloe clutch that comes in a very festive shade of red great for the holidays and is a classic all year round.

I’ve teamed up with Maison Jules once again to share how I’m styling their perfect little black dress just in time for the holidays! With sweet little details like sheer sleeves and a trio of mini bows, this black fit and flare dress is the sweetest LBD in my closet right now. Wear it with heels for a classic cocktail dress (like in today’s post) or with feminine flats for a brunch with your favorite girls!
I paired it with a bright pink lip, a hot pink accessory and statement earrings. If you follow along on Snapchat (apinchoflovely), you also saw this dress recently as I was trying on holiday party dresses! A lot of you gave it your vote on which I should wear too! Maison Jules always puts a little spin on their pieces that references Parisian inspiration which is why I’m loving the simplicity and chicness of the bows and sheer sleeves. You can see the entire Maison Jules collection exclusively on Macys.com along with a lot of my favorite picks!

Thank you to Maison Jules, a brand that I love, for sponsoring today’s post and teaming up on the perfect LBD for the holidays. As always, all thoughts and styling are of my own.
