My family is pretty spread out, so I’m traveling from one house to the other for Thanksgiving meals… and I’m pretty much eating at every single one. So, I need a comfortable outfit that will get me through the entire day and multiple slices of pumpkin pie. I hate to say this, but when I was considering what to wear for Thanksgiving Day, I literally thought about a comfortable waistband. That’s so bad.

BUT with my Twiggy Dancer leggings by James Jeans, I don’t have to think twice.

I’ve posted about these jeans and how stretchy they are multiple times now, but they’re ideal for times like Thanksgiving when you know you’re going to be cheating on any sort of healthy eating plan. They are definitely forgiving – they are made with the same material as yoga pants. I could literally do yoga in these jeans. I mean I don’t, but I could. Instead, I’ll just be able to eat three servings of green bean casserole.

I’m also all about loose layering right now. I love this fringe cardigan option so much – and it’s long enough in the back. (I hate when they’re not long enough in the back!)

I also want to chat about my Johnston and Murphy booties and how cozy, comfy they are! I picked these specifically because I didn’t have a gray winter boot, but the other two colors are just as lovely especially the tan with it’s multi-colored lining. And best of all, you can WIN A PAIR right now by visiting @apinchoflovely on Instagram. Find the giveaway image of these booties and follow the instructions to win!

Please take note of the necklaces in today’s post as well – there will be a Thanksgiving giveaway with Urban Lilac next week! A great gift to win for yourself or to give someone else, so you’ll want to check back for that opportunity too!

Thank you, thank you to Brenna for inviting me to be a part of this Thanksgiving lookbook series. It’s my first one of this kind, and I really had a blast putting together our coordinating looks! Remember to check out Chic Street Style for more of Brenna’s outfit inspiration and for full details of the looks seen on A Pinch of Lovely this week! xo
