Seeing Red!

valentines day outfit idea

leopard print pumps
How is it already time to start thinking of Valentine’s Day date night outfits? It might seem a little early, but really it’s not when you think about how early you have to get your dinner reservations in nowadays. Will you be going fancy with fine dining or casual with a low-key evening?

In today’s post, I’m thinking about the color of romance – RED. It’s perfect for a flirty night out on the town with a little red wine, red lips, and red party skirt…

See today’s full glam party skirt post and more photos from the gorgeous bar and restaurant inside the Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel!

How adorable is this taffeta skirt from Shop Brynnie? It’s playful and oh-so-cute for Valentine’s Day looks! And since red and leopard are a classic pair, I couldn’t resist putting them together for today’s post. Shop Brynnie offers also offers party skirts toddler-sized for your mini-me’s! Pick one up in sassy red or understated black. There’s even a limited-time spotted print available.

These leopard heels are actually my first pair of leopard print pumps (how strange, right?), so I’m currently plotting all the different ways that I want to wear them. This pair from Kiki La’Rue has a modest heel and ample toe room which is super important for comfort. (I’m taking over the Kiki La’Rue Instagram account today!)

And speaking of comfort, since these are brand new heels and the very first time I wore them was for this shoot, I enlisted the help of a little product called Sole Serum. It’s specifically targets foot pain and provides instant relief all in one little bottle. With up to two hours of pain free heels with every use, you’ll fall in love with your super high heels again! Ideal to use at the first hint of discomfort when you know you have more hours on your feet. Get more info on the Sole Serum website!
