As promised here are a few snaps of my wedding gown! I found this dress the very first time that I ever looked while it was at I Do Bridal Couture for a trunk show. I actually went in thinking that I wanted something very vintage-inspired with intricate beading and a loose flowing skirt – I ended up choosing something that was completely opposite (of course).
After trying on embellished dresses, gowns with big skirts, lace-covered numbers, I fell in love with this Amsale gown. It’s structured and architectural and as a designer, I’m a sucker for clean lines. It’s simple but such a statement maker. It says understated chic – and it reminds me of old Hollywood glamour.
At the time, I was the very first bride to order it. I literally tried on the model sample that walked down the runway. Swoon, right? My wedding dress is literally the most gorgeous thing that I’ve ever worn, and I am so thankful to my mother for giving me the best gift I’ve ever received – besides my engagement ring. 😉
I also want to thank Ramsey and her girls at I Do Bridal Couture for introducing me to the Nolita, the most important dress that I will ever wear. Thanks for being patient with an indecisive bride who walked in with probably 50 pages of dress examples and picked up this Amsale dress first!
