Showing LOVE for the Winter Cocktail Dress w/ Rachel Allan

The holidays are over, but I don’t intend on packing up my cocktail attire pieces just yet. In fact, I’ve actually got a few more reasons to dress up leading in to 2016 including my best friends wedding and as much as he may protest, Jordan will be participating in Valentine’s Day this year. We’ve actually gotten into a habit of celebrating V-Day a weekend before the actual date to avoid the crazy restaurant issues and set menus. Nothing romantic about your waiter trying to rush you through your 5 course meal because they’ve got to fit in all 300 reservations for the night. Yuck.

I’m also trying to avoid waiting until the last minute to come up with a plan – fun fact you guys, I’m the worst sort of procrastinator. SO not only am I already thinking ahead to Valentine’s Day plans, I’m also thinking about what those plans might call for in terms of a fancy cocktail dress. But not to worry because I have this Rachel Allan burgundy and black lace stunner on back up. It’s got a flirty cutout and feminine pencil skirt bottom. And UMM hello sexy back. It has an open back with gorgeous beaded straps!

Another fun fact, I enjoy any and every reason to dress up. (I mean my friends and I started a spring hat brunch just so we could wear fancy hats while drinking mimosas.) So having a few cocktail dress surprises like this lace cutout dress is always a good idea!
